    You might be wondering; how does the Aurora Borealis happen? – it’s all very interesting, including atoms, molecules, and collisions that help to create the gorgeous colours you see in the sky. If you’re in Finland, you’re going to want to make sure you see this.

    This is a contemporary monument to the Finnish composer who created the national anthem. Here you’ll find attractive sculptures with grounds surrounding that can make for a nice stroll. If you’re a fan of his music or you simply want to see some great sculptures, make sure you pay a visit.

    The Powerpark is a must visit for thrill seekers. Here, you’ll find small queues with great rides, so you’ll be able to make the most of your time here. Perfect for travelling families but also great for couples who want a little fun in between seeing sights.

    It’s Christmas all year here at Santa Claus village, so make sure you stop by if you’re travelling to Finland with kids. Your kids have the opportunity to enjoy Christmas even when it’s summer back home, and you can give them an experience they won’t forget in a hurry. It could even be worth a visit for grown up Santa Claus fans – nobody is judging!

    See how the native population traditionally relied on faithful huskies as part of their transportation needs. You can whoosh through the countryside on a sledge pulled by a pack of these magnificent dogs and led by an experienced handler.
