Taken during our visit to peaceful Don Khong in the 4000 Island chain in southern Laos. This is my first proper attempt at a time-lapse sequence! I set up the camera, pointed it at the setting sun and sat back and watched the spectacle! It’s quite short, but beautiful nevertheless!
Enjoy 🙂
I like!
How much time went over that?
Thanks Sofie! 🙂
It took a while to do, but that’s because I’ve never done it before! I used Adobe Premier Pro for ‘video’ part of it (adding the music, text, fades etc), and Adobe Lightroom to build the actual time-lapse sequence from 800 images! It’s pretty powerful software, but Adobe Premiere Elements is very good, and much easier to use!
Are you thinking of doing some of your own time-lapses?! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I might try some in the future, but first I need to work on my ‘normal’ photography and photo editing. I’m a complete newbie in that area!
Check out Photoshop Elements in that case Sofie, you can download a free trial here from the Adobe site. It’s amazing software, pretty easy to use, and if Eloise can use it then anyone can 😉 Ha
Hahaha, poor Eloise. I think you underestimate her. Or overestimate me:D
Top one. I’m a big fan of timelapses and Don Khone! It’s Don Khone right? Anyway, have just had a quick look through your blog and I like what I see. Have just spent a bit of time in Laos myself and this brings back good memories!
