Travel Photo of the Day: Local Woman Coir Spinning in Kerala

During our backwater trip, we visited a local village where Coir Spinning is the main source of income. Thanks to the abundance of coconuts in Kerala, south India, the coconut fibre Coir is spun and eventually processed into products like strong rope, carpets and doormats, then sold worldwide.
